Preparación
Start by squeezing the oranges until we have about half a liter of juice. It is important that the orange juice is fresh as it is the star ingredient of this cocktail.
Next, in a jug or directly in the glasses where we are going to serve it (which could preferably be cooled in advance), we mix the freshly squeezed orange juice with the cava, and then add the vodka and gin. The order of the ingredients does not influence the final taste of the cocktail, so we can add them as we want or have them on hand.
Stir everything with a long spoon to mix well and then taste it to assess whether it is sweet enough to our liking. If we consider it necessary, we add two tablespoons of sugar and stir again until it is well dissolved.
Once the drink is prepared, we place it in the refrigerator until it is very cold. We can prepare it in advance and leave it in the refrigerator for several hours, even from one day to the next, so that at the time of serving it is at its perfect point.
Sugerencias
Use fresh ingredients
For a better taste, always use fresh orange juice. The artificial one could alter the taste of the cocktail, making it less delicious.
Chill your glasses
A great tip is to put the glasses in the refrigerator a few hours before preparing the cocktail. This will ensure that the drink stays cold for longer.
Control the sweetness
Depending on your taste, you can vary the amount of sugar. However, remember that the cava, vodka and gin already have certain sweetness, so adding too much sugar can overpower the other flavors.
Preguntas Frecuentes
¿Puedo sustituir el cava por otro tipo de vino espumoso?
